Ron Chell Snr was involved in speedway for over 40 years where he started his career in Forrestfield Speedway. He was involved at Claremont     
Speedway, being introduced to Speedcars by  Malcolm Miles who lived next door to him and then pit crewed and built Speedcars for Colin Tremeer  He became machine examiner for WASDA, Claremont Speedway and Quit Motorplex for over 25 years until his illness.
Ron Passed away on 11/11/2007

Ron Chell Jnr was given 40 years of photo's, newspaper clippings and speedway programs from the years gone by that his father had collected. Therefore Ron has put a website together named Western Australian Speedway History to share all the photo's and information with the speedway fans from all around Australia and the World.
